Like a stroll through a glen of Green Mountain birches, Silver Haven is a refreshing and welcoming escapade. This 6.5% ABV hop-forward Vermont style India Pale Ale exudes grapefruit and woody spice notes among its soft straw-hued body. Like golden leaves that hold on to the silver birch limb winterlong, Silver Haven lingers, delivering a distinct hop dank to the citrusy end.

Can to becher pint glass.
Appearance: burnt hazy orange color with a two finger white foamy head which slowly dissipated to leave some messy lace.
Aroma: grapefruity pith, some citrus rind, clean biscuity malts
Flavor: bittersweet from the hops to the malts; clean aftertaste of grapefruity hops and malts
Texture: light to medium bodied, fair sessionability, mild hop grip on my tongue; clean grapefruity hop finish
Overall: pretty nice AIPA for the most part, I'd have again.

16 oz can. Aroma shows grapefruit, orange and citrus pith. Flavor is a direct reflection with a moderate pith bitterness. Overall, slightly above the norm.
