Reviewed from notes.
Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: dark brown in the glass with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: toasted nuts, sweet earthiness, dark fruits, light notes of cocoa powder and some caramel/toffee malts
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine bittersweet to semi-sweet quality; finishes somewhat nutty with some dark fruits and caramel tones
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, good smoothness
Overall: yup, I can see this as an English dark mild worth coming back to. Pass the fish n' chips.

Pours dark cola into an English pint. Mocha head with good retention recedes leaving sheet lacing to coat surface. Dried chocolate covered pit fruit aromas. Spritzy with dark caramel, dried pit fruit and cocoa dust front to back. Medium length earthy licorice finish.

16 oz. can. Aroma of nuts, raisins, toffee. Flavor follows with a hint of earth. Body is the plus side of light, leaning on medium. Quite a bit of flavor for the low gravity. A nice session ale.

Always buy a new mild. Dark chestnut pour and foamy beige head. Nose is dried fruit and tobacco. Tastes of light cherry, pleather, tobacco leaf, little rootbeer. Mild palate.
