Spinkus pours a deep golden color with orange highlights and heavy haze. A hefty dry hop of Nelson Sauvin and Huell Melon create aromas of white grape, mixed berries, pear, and subtle papaya. The flavors follow the nose, along with a slight toasted malt quality. Medium-bodied with a silky mouthfeel, and just enough bitterness to cut through it all. Spinkus packs assertive, complex hop character in a sessionable crusher of a pale ale!

Spinkus was a mean cat with a crooked tail. She was a fierce huntress and lived to be 24 years old. She was with us for many years and may she be with us in spirit for many more!

16 oz can. in a trade with tfontana. Aroma has bready malt, herb, and soft grape. Flavor has a decent amount of white grape with the herb hidden. Light melon hints with soft herb bitterness. Good balance.

Can from Andover Classic Wines. It's a light brown-dark yellow with no sparkle, finger-width off-white foamy head with good retention and trace lacing. Aroma is musty grape, melon, mild herb. Taste is grape, biscuit, yeast. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with foamy texture, average carbonation and dry finish as taste with lingering mild bitterness. Overall, well made but was expecting something a bit sweeter.
