Pours hazy mahogany into an English pint. Mocha head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Chocolate and dark caramel aromas. Thick with sweet chocolate and multigrain sourdough turning to chocolate covered cherry before the earthy, dusty cocoa finish.

14 oz draft. Aroma has mild nits, maple. Flavor is mildly nutty, toasted grain with a light hint of maple. For a brown ale, good!

Can pour from The Beer Store, Nashua. It's a hazy dark brown-red with decent sparkle, thin cap of tan head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma is strong toasted malt, nuts, straw, light toffee, and brown bread. Taste follows aroma with hint of dark chocolate late. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with thick, frothy texture, soft-to-average carbonation and dry, crisp finish. Overall, a tasty brown ale with good complexity and strength.
