Introducing "Who's Your Mama" our 10.5% Chocolate Cherry Imperial Stout.
We started with a rich base recipe that we boiled for over five hours - encouraging caramelization of the wort. After primary fermentation we added a large amount of sweet and tart cherry puree and allowed the beer to re-ferment before giving it a final dose of cocoa nibs.
The resulting beer is thick and rich with a roasty dark chocolate aroma. The extended boil brings lots of caramelized flavors to the party along with dried fruit and more dark chocolate. The cherry is present but really starts to shine as the beer warms and opens up. We are really enjoying how much this beer changes from the first sip to the last and we hope you do too!

16 oz can. Aroma has caramelized sugar, roasted green and very mild cherry. Cherry is light in flavor. Positive is the alcohol is really well hidden. Negative is the body is thinner than many want in an imperial Stout. With a few tweaks will be real good.
