Can from tfontana, thanks for the trade! Hazy murky dark yellow with a decent sized frothy white head that slowly recedes. Lemony earthy grassy with bits of bready malt and a hint of warming alcohol.

16 oz can in a trade with tfontana. Thanks Tom! Appearance is a deep straw color with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity citrus, bready malt. The flavor has fruity esters, the yeast gives sharp spices, resinous notes and the texture is drying. The kveik yeast is always different.

Mixed review on tap as part of a flight at the brewery and can picked up same date. Appearance is opaque dark yellow-light brown with trace sparkle, finger-width off-white rocky foam head with decent retention and fair lacing. Aroma is dank and astringent lemon citrus and pine. Taste is strong astringent lemon citrus, pine, late yeast and background biscuit malt. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with thick, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste with lingering bitterness and yeast. Overall, strength of aroma and flavor is decent but a bit astringent. More toward conventional sort of retro DIPA than DNEIPA but kveik throws a hammer, I mean a monkey wrench, into things.
