A classic American amber ale full of rich, malty notes and just a hint of herbal hops.

Can from my father: pours amber with nice light beige head. Aroma is light caramel, malty notes. Pretty olde schoole amber ale. Low bitterness. Light sweetness. Malty. Fine.

16 oz. can. Dated: 08-16-21. Appearance is a slight clear dark amber with low Co2. Aroma has caramel, toast, and malts. Taste is lightly sweet, caramel malts, with hints of apple and earth. Light body. Overall, this is a standard issue Amber ale.

On tap at brewpub.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-dark red color with a slim finger-ed white foamy head. Minimal lacing.
The smell started off with a subtle chocolatey malts and then a nice roasted nutty edge in and around it.
The taste was mainly the same with a semi-wet nutty to chocolatey aftertaste. Light nutty finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with pretty good sessionability about it. Carbonation runs light and smooth.
Overall, wow, what a really nice amber ale that I know I’d have again.
