16 ounce can. Aroma and flavor are direct reflection of each other. Soft raspberry on top of chocolate with vanilla and a mild sweet finish. Of course the lactose helps a little bit in the mouth feel but I could really do without it. Thankfully it’s not overly sweet so it still works. I really love this brewery when they DON’T use lactose.

Can (2/2/21) pour from trade with Johnnnniee via The Packie. It's an opaque black (dark brown at the bottom of the glass) with light sparkle at the edges of the glass, thin cap of fizzy light brown head with reddish hue with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong earthy roasted malts, lactose and light raspberry/fruit. Taste is strong nicely balanced raspberry, lactose, cocoa and vanilla. Mouthfeel is medium-to-full bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, nicely balanced and good complexity. Aroma and flavors are strong without being excessively sweet. Good.
