Can pour from trade with Johnnnniee--thanks, John! Appearance is deeply hazy dark yellow-light brown with light sparkle, thin cap of off-white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is pine, citrus and a sweet (almost marshmallow) malt, with vague musky herbal. Taste is pine and citrus over sweet malts; vague herbal. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, some conventional elements and some unusual aspects. Not sure it all works great, but kind of interesting.

16 oz. can shared by tfontana. Thanks Tom. As far as the name of the beer it was just shortened. As always when it comes to nanoBrewery there are slight fluctuations in recipe or ABV. Aroma is bready malt, pine, citrus. Flavor is a direct reflection of the aroma. Very old-school feel but well-made.

Can from the source. The can is marked The Safe Word and is listed at 8.0% abv. Maybe there was a recipe and name change? Pours a lightly hazy deep gold color with a decent sized frothy white head that slowly recedes. Resinous pine and onion nose and flavor with a sweet bready malt that's a bit sweeter than I've had in a while. Tasty old school dank IPA.
