16 oz. can received in a trade with Tom. Love these new labels from this brewery!! Aroma has herbal notes with mild grapefruit. Flavor has a bready malt backbone with grapefruit, herbal, and floral characters. Maybe a hint of generic apricot. Overall, pretty balanced and rather easy to drink.

Can pour into nonic pint glass on two separate occasions. Appearance is cloudy, milky yellow with light sparkle at the edge of the glass, nice finger-width off-white head with fair retention and leggy lacing (whole appearance reminds me of an Orange Julius). Aroma of one beer was stone fruit and tropical fruit, another was herbal with a bit of musk. Taste was tropical fruit/stone fruit with one with light earthy bitterness at the end; for the other musky, herbal with light grapefruit and citrus. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin texture, soft-to-average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, Galaxy is just an OK hop for me, but this is probably one of my favorite Galaxy offerings. Then, I noticed the born on date was almost 5 months earlier for the first beer (tropical fruit/stone fruit) so thought I would try again (figuring those flavors would be even stronger). On second go around, was herbal dominant and couldn't pick out the fruits and this was canned same day! Go figure. Either wide variability between batches or a combination of a more varied hop than I thought and the passage of time.
