Can pour from Total Wine & More, Brentwood. Appearance is very dark brown with mild sparkle, 2-finger width tan foamy head with decent retention and light leggy lacing. Aroma is roasted malts, nuts. Taste is stronger roasted malt (almost smoky) and nuts than aroma. Hint of dark/baker's chocolate. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and dry finish as taste. Overall, no pretension here as not adjuncts or anything fancy but a solid straightforward porter. Quite good for what it is.

16 oz. can. Shared by tfontana, thanks Tom. Aroma is cocoa, yeast, nuts. Flavor is a reflection with some lingering chocolate and a good mouthfeel for the style. Damn near creamy texture. Respectable.

16 oz can, with huge thanks to Greg for the can. A treat to try these guys. A muddy brown pour with a thin fizz head. A soft milk chocolate like aroma. A unique porter here. Delicious for sure. Cool soft nutty malt, milk chocolate, the lightest roasted coffee, slight vanilla, and a late nutty reminder late. I really dig this porter. Drinks nice. Cool, refreshing. Very nice.

Pour is a almost near black with a small tan head. Aroma is a nice char dark malt and some peanut butter. Flavor is more of a bitter coffee and bakers chocolate. Finish leaves a little of the roasted malt on the tongue. This was a fine traditional porter.
