Pouring intensely black, warm aromas of raisin and dark fruit immediately greet the palate. Layers of cinnamon bark, dark chocolate fudge, gently sweet brown sugar, and vanilla frosting notes add complexity to each sip. Rich and creamy, with a warming barrel character, Barrel-Aged Cinnamon Raisin Bun is a bold and well-rounded treat.

Bottle date 11/18/19. Shared by TJ. The aroma is soft cinnamon, mild oak, chocolate. Flavor pops with cinnamon throughout. Barrel is soft with warmth after the sip. A combo of booze and spice. Wow! Good in small amounts.

Bottle (11/18/19) pour at a bottle share--thanks, TJ! Appearance is inky black with nice viscosity, light sparkle at the edges of the glass, no head and no lacing. Aroma is strong sweet roasted malt, vanilla, cinnamon, raisin/dark fruit and bourbon all in nice proportion. Taste is strong very sweet cinnamon and raisin with later bourbon and light vanilla. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with thin, slippery texture, soft-to-average carbonation and sweet finish. Overall, borderline too sweet, which is rare for me. Nice feel for a sipper and they got what they were aiming for but a bit too much.
Wow, notes of cinnamon, lots and lots of cinnamon, hints of vanilla, coffee, chocolate. Nice.
Wonderful, smooth
