Can (20015) pour. Appearance is opaque black with no sparkle, thin cap of light brown head with fair retention and trace lacing. Aroma is strongly roasted malts (bordering on ash), dark chocolate, nuts, more vanilla as it warms. Taste is nice blend of vanilla, cacao and lactose, lighter hazelnuts, as advertised. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin texture, soft carbonation, mild alcohol warmth and sweet finish as taste but mild bitterness at very end. Overall, taste beats aroma. Decent balance to it though hazelnuts are a little muted.

12 oz. can shared by by tfontana, thanks for the chance Tom. Vanilla, cocoa, and metal. This was canned January 2020. Flavor has a nice chocolate element with vanilla, maybe hazelnut, as a afterthought. Good mouthfeel and balance between the adjuncts.

Can from the Craft Beer Cellar Belmont Inky black in color with a frothy tan head that persists. Rich roasty chocolate with bits of earthy hop, dark dried fruits and a light nuttiness. Pretty nice sipper a hint on the sweet side.
