5 oz. pour on tap as part of a flight at the brewery. Appearance is clear honey brown with finger-width off-white head with good retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is earthy roast, light caramel and cracker. Taste follows aroma with addition of subtle florals. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste with lingering bitterness. Overall, pretty straightforward true to style.

Can from The Packie Pours fairly clear deep copper in color with a tightly bubbled tan head that slowly dissipates. Bready caramel and light toasty maltiness. Light earth and fruitiness counter nicely. Pretty nice flavorful beer.

16 oz. can. aroma of bread, toffee, and some dark fruit. Flavorful with dark fruit and toffee sweetness with some dark bread and a subtle fruit presence. As it should be.
