Bottle pour in a trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! Appearance is clear pale yellow with nice sparkle, 1/2-finger width foamy head with poor retention and trace lacing. Aroma is citrus (lemon-lime), earthy pine. Taste is strong, slightly astringent, citrus with late bittering and pilsner malt. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, soft-to-average carbonation and dry, crisp finish with lingering mild bitterness. Overall, the brewer has either inadvertently misclassified this or it's a really bad NEIPA. More like a bitter lager or a weak APA. Don't really know what to say about it.

22oz bottle from the source. Lightly hazy golden color with a good sized frothy bone white head that persists. Earthy pine and citrus on the nose. Light sweet malt in the flavor. The hops from the aroma are present as well as a hint of mint grassy flavor. Solid carbonation light astringency. IPA's like they used to make and pretty tasty too.

22 oz. bottle from the brewery. Bottled yesterday. A clear light golden color. Clear? A clear New England IPA? Since when??? Aroma shows mild mango and non descriptive fruit. Flavor is mild mango-ish. Texture is lightly juicy with a thin body. No bitterness whatsoever. Has potential.
