Paid $8.25 for a 16 oz. can!! Aroma is slight bourbon, cranberry, chocolate. The flavor has the chocolate with a mild undercurrent of bourbon. With the finish showing a pretty strong bitterness in the finish. Body and texture are good. I mean it is kind of balanced.

This was poured into a snifter.
The appearance was a dark black color with a finger’s worth of white to off white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Soft stringy lacing clings nicely.
The aroma starts off with a blend of the cranberry sweet to tart yet mild acidic tone running into the roast and the cocoa bean base, a rugged sweetness. Robust dry woodiness underneath.
The flavor yields to the roastiness first. Some sweet and tart cranberries and cocoa bean slide in decently. All of that combines but also gets a little bit of chalkiness in the feel.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a nice sipping quality about it. Carbonated nicely, a dry chalkiness grips my tongue in an acceptable way.
Overall, well, I may have over hyped it on untappd but still this is a very nice imperial stout that I would have again.
