Reviewed from notes.
Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black color with a two and a half fingers of tan foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: roasted coffee tones, dark chocolate, sweet earthy & nutty whiffs and a clean caramel/biscuity maltiness
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine roasty to sweet quality; finishes roasty, earthy and caramel-y
Texture: medium bodied, slightly sessionable, some smoothness with ample amount of dryness
Overall: I liked this porter for me but it certainly was an odd one.

Taster pour on tap at NH Brewfest. Appearance is opaque black, no discernible sparkle, thin ring of light-brown head. Aroma is vague roasted malt, vague fruit, not very assertive. Taste is pretty strong roasted malt, earthy. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with thick, smooth texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, pretty straightforward roasted malt porter.
