Porter brewed with Battle Grounds Coffee. The Black Ale Project is a prolific craft beer initiative that raises money and awareness on behalf of U.S. war veterans. We brewed this porter in collaboration with Battle Grounds Coffee and will be donating a portion of the sales to Operation Delta Dog, a non-profit organization that rescues homeless dogs and trains them to work as service dogs for veterans suffering from TBI, PTSD, and other related challenges.

Can from Brewtopia Dark brown with a decent sized mocha head that persists. Coffee and roast on the nose and in the flavor. Light pepper and dark dried fruits. Mostly coffee.

Canned 10/25/19. Aroma is moderate coffee and weak chocolate. The body of the Porter is a little thin but the coffee element is good. About what you would expect for the price point, style, and brewery. Average.
