Draught@HBF2017. Deep reddish black colour, small brown head. Aroma is wood, some liquorice, mild toast as well as some earth. Flavour is wood, some earthy and mild toasted notes with a bit tobaccoish notes too.

Draught @ HBF 2017 [ Helsinki Beer Festival 2017 ], Kaapelitehdas, Talberginkatu 1, Helsinki, Finland. [ As Ruosniemen Baltic Porter ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, sweet malt, roasted, dark malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to lively. [20170407] 7-3-7-3-15

(Keg at HBF2017) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate and hops. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, burnt malts, dark chocolate and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, burnt and bitter. A nice burnt brew without gimmicks.

Tap @hbf 2017. Poured near black with a thin white head. Oaty, malty, light yeasty aroma. Flavor has roastedness, some chocolate, coffee, oatmeal. Medium bodied.

Tap at Kitty’s, Helsinki. Colour is very dark brown with small slightly brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Some chocolate, dryness, dry cold coffee and roasted malts. Pretty nice.
