Can from. The brewery, thanks Stacey. Amber in color. Rich malty, bready aroma, yeast. Sweet with full body and dense, rounded mouthfeel. Lots of dough, bready, yeast. Nice chewy mouthfeel. Nice representation of the style.

Pint can pours with a clear deep copper to amber body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up figs, earthy dates, caramel and brown sugar. The taste delivers smooth figs, dates and plum flowering into thin sweet molasses and brown sugar. Behind those notes the yeast and slight mineral sensation help give this an authentic German doppelbock feel.
