Draught @ HBF 2017 [ Helsinki Beer Festival 2017 ], Kaapelitehdas, Talberginkatu 1, Helsinki, Finland. [ As Maistila / Olari Suburbanned Porter ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, coffee, espresso. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, espresso, sweet malt, dark chocolate, roasted, coffee, malt bitter. SOPP, Turku. A black beer, a head is small and beige. Aroma has strong and natural coffee, roastiness, some lactose. Taste has coffee, roastiness, sweetness of lactose. Medium bodied. Lots of strong coffee, tasteful.

Tap at SOPP Hki 2017. Smell of coffee, roasted malt, vanilla, some oak. Also some cocoa. Black colour, mid-brown small head. Aroma of oak, coffee, roasted malt, some chocolate or cocoa in finish. Also vanilla. Sweet, also medium bitter. Soft, plentiful carbon. Heavy body. Very good.

Draught @ SOPP 2017. Pours pitch black with a small head. Aroma of roasty malts, coffee, cocoa, chocolate and vanilla. Taste is smooth, slightly roasty and sweetish with some cocoa, loads of coffee, chocolate and vanilla. Finish is smooth, slightly roasty and heavy with chocolate, coffee and cocoa. Draught@HBF2017. Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is coffee, roasted malts, some floral and toasted malts as well as some chocolate. Flavour is roasted malts, coffee, wood, chocolate and some slight toffee. Pleasant and hides the abv quite well.

Tap at HBF 2017, Helsinki. Colour is clear dark brown with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Dark chocolate, coffee and roasted malts. Nice drinkability. Very good.

(Keg at HBF2017) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had coffee, burnt malts and milky sweetness. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were coffee with milk, burnt malts, lactic sweetness, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, burnt and bitter. A pleasant coffee infused strong dark brew.

Tap @ hbf 2017. Poured pitch black with a thick off white head. Aroma has roastedness, chocolate, vanilla, coffee in aroma. Flavor has strong coffee, roasted malt, licorice, sweetness. Smooth long finish. Excellent.
