Sample at the source, review from notes. Hazy dark amber in color with a thin white head that persists. Caramel and toffee with bits of bread and earthy grassy hops to counter. Simple mild really tasty.

On tap at the brewpub. Cloudy darker pale. Mild tart beer nose. Sweeter, but not too bold. Easy in the middle. Comes across nice, friendly, civilized. Pretty good near the finish. So nice, so easy, I'm liking this in the end. Very good for a 5.3% mild brew.

4 oz. sample at the brewery. Flavor starts with mild toffee, light undescriptive hop in the finish. Subtle bitterness. Lighter body and texture as expected. Pretty much spot on the style, very simple.
