Taster pour on tap at the brewery. Appearance is opaque black with no discernible sparkle, thin ring of off-white head with no lacing. Aroma is sugar cookie with sprinkles, vanilla, cinnamon, raisin. Taste is raisin cinnamon cookie mixed with mild alcohol, and vanilla. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin texture, average-to-lively carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, good cookie flavor but the vanilla, cinnamon and raisin might be a tad too strong and the sweetness kind of clashes with the astringency of the alcohol.

16 oz. can purchased at Prost. Had to keep an open mind here because of past experiences with this Brewers beer. The aroma is really similar to a freshly baked oatmeal cookie. The flavor is oatmeal on top of mild chocolate. The 10% ABV is completely masked. The mouthfeel and creamy sweetness makes me think there is lactose sugar here. The palate is nice but being a person that is lactose intolerant, use of milk sugar is concerning.

Well, the good news is the flavor is good. It is a pretty nice desserts that all things considered.
