Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 5.5
4 oz. sample at the brewery. Darker brown appearance with standard carbonation level. Aroma is mild with hints of nuts, dried leaves, earthy malt. Flavor is a reflection of the aroma. The flavor is proper yet the body leans on the real thin (watery) side. I guess it is a good brown ale for the summer months. Would need more body for Fall or Winter. Backbone is hollow.
