When life (or your hop supplier) gives you €1,000 of free hops, you do the obvious. Make a single 1,000L batch with all the hops thrown in the same batch and ofcourse you make it a punchy 10.00% DIPA. We genuinely thought this was going to be a one-off. Having (extensively) tasted it now though...

Can shared. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, citrus, grassy hops and grapefruit. Flavour is heavy sweet and bitter. Light full bodied with soft carbonation.

330ml can from HK Brewcraft, Hong Kong. Poured a hazy golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, big grassy, zesty tropical fruits. The flavour is moderate to strong sweet, moderate bitter, with a fresh, crisp, big juicy citrus, light warm alcohol, dry hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Well hidden alcohol, fruity and nicely balanced.

Finally reviewing this. Fitting for #1000! 2019 can seems like best version in a while. Nearly clear golden peach pour with fuzzy white head. Aroma is huge melon, peach, banana, citrus peel, honey. Sweet and juicy. Taste is big bitter bite, melon, nectarine, pine resin, lots of alcohol. Really good. Light palate with not much carbonation, but bitter tingle stands in a bit. Excellent huge DIPA, probably HK’s best. Have already had dozens of these and would definitely get again.

Bottle 0.33l, trade with GoufCustom, many thanks, Colin! Cloudy, orange colored. AROMA- zest of tropical fruit and citrus, pleasant alcohol, licorice. FLAVOR- lightly sweet, moderately bitter, pleasantly warming, very fruity. Full bodied.

Draught at The Ale Project, Kowloon - Hong Kong, on October 7, 2017. As 20 cl pours.Cloudy golden color, yellow head. Hoppy, fruity, alcohol, caramel taste. Bitter, alcohol, floral, fruity, sweet aftertaste. Full smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. Alcohol infused bitterness. Warming alcohol. Hoppy, alcohol scent. Not well balanced, alcohol not well hidden.6/3/7/4/12=3.2
