4 oz. draft at Extreme Beer Fest, 3 Feb, 2018. Pours pitch black with small tan head that diminishes fast. Oily viscosity in a swirl. The aroma is HUGE vanilla bean, maple sugar, roast. Thick body, roast, vanilla, nice maple, lightly boozy finish. Oily mouthfeel. Nice for a small sample but with the sugar and vanilla it may overwhelm for a larger amount. Sipper for sure. Caution: Contains lactose!

Sample from the bottle at EBF, Boston. Color is dark brown with very small brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Dark chocolate, chocolate and roasted malts. Vanilla and little bit of spicy.
