Die Gose scheint ja gerade eine Art Modebier zu sein. Aber Ihre Vielseitigkeit hat auch mich überzeugt. Wer kennt etwa nicht die Versionen von Welde, Ale Mania, oder Braumanufaktur Hertl. Wie, Gose kennt Ihr nicht?
Die Gose ist eine alte Biersorte, die ursprünglich aus Goslar stammt. Ihren Namen hat sie vermutlich von dem gleichnamigen dort fliesenden Flüsschen. Sie ist ursprünglich ein spontanvergorenes Bier, dessen Gärung aber heute vorwiegend obergärig durchgeführt wird, wenn auch unter Zuhilfenahme von Milchsäurebakterien. Grob gesagt handelt es sich hierbei um ein Sauerbier, dass zur geschmacklichen Abrundung Koriander und Salz zugesetzt bekommen hat.
Meine Version zeichnet sich durch folgende Charakteristika aus. Die rote Farbe der Hibiskusblüte, das Aroma von Rosen, durch die Verwendung von Rosenwasser, die Säure und fruchtige Spritzigkeit des Rhabarbers, kombiniert mit der Nussigkeit von Koriander und abgerundet mit einer Prise Meersalz.

Thanks Vesna! Didn't expect to try this I reckon. :D Murky ochre body. Soft aroma, hibiscus tea and honey, nice and interesting. Soft hibiscus taste. Rhubarb is relatively invisible, maybe just adding additional body, roses... maybe. Not a bad experiment, though not that goseish.

Deep pinky red color, small pinky head. Aroma has hibiscus, coriander, strawberries and light tartness. Light to medium-bodied. Suprisingly not much tartness for being German gose. Some light saltyness with coriander, banana, hibiscus, rosebuds and strawberries. Watery finish. Easy drinker. Good as I had to drink whole bottle ...

Aroma has odd soapy and cleaning liquid -like citrus. Flavour has rhubarb(!), some sweetish berry juice, sour cream and hints of green apples. Not exactly my thing but not bad anyway.

1000ml bottle, thanks Timo A. BBE 12/2017. Pours reddish with a small head. Aroma of floral notes, tartness, hibiscus, hints of rhubarb and berries. Taste is smooth, slightly sweetish and floral with hints of rhubarb, hibiscus, berries and smoke. Finish is smooth, creamy and slightly salty with hints of berries and floral notes. Interesting, not very sour.
