Pour is a dark mahogany with a large tan head. Aroma is a bit of chocolate and banana. Aroma is sweet dark malt with a little yeast ester. Finish leaves some sweetness of the tongue. It smelled better than it drank.

5 oz. sample at the brewery, served in a beaker. Deep brown with soapy head.,Aroma is pumpernickel bread, burnt toast and mild yeast. Reminds me more of A German bock. Dark bread, mild roast, earthy grains, and a hint of ash. Medium body a lot of dark malts. It is pretty much to style with the yeast hidden.
