16 oz. can purchased at Julio's Liquors. Canned on 9-5-17. Almost a clear in color orange / golden color. Just from the color I could tell it had a lot of malt. In the nose, abundant caramel with subtle pine. Thankfully the flavor is not as sweet as the nose indicated.
I drank 14 oz. before finishing my review. Honestly, it's almost like drinking a caramel covered pine cone. It is in fact, as sweet as it smelled. The ABV is hidden but that is the sweetness masking it. Well, they all can't be home runs.

Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a semi-dark copper almost amber color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that slid off at a moderate pace. Light stringy lace.
The aroma had a little bit of pine melding with some tropical fruity qualities. Light malt backbone.
The flavor didn’t necessarily blend fully, but it did have a nice smooth clean quality about it. Smooth sweet aftertaste and finish.
The feel was roughly medium bodied with a decent sipping quality about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV shouldered the appropriate strength.
Overall, it’s a pretty good DIPA that I could come back to if given.

At the source: pours amber with a white head. Aroma is sharp pine and tropical fruit. Nice big body. Not too bitter. Kind of sweet. Not too heavy. Alcohol successfully covered up. It works.
