Bottle sample at Sap House, pours a clear blonde. Nose brings out dry white wine and subtle wildflower honey. Flavour is quite dry, with white wine notes, booze and wildflower honey. Boozy and warming, with just a touch of sweetness. Very good.

Small sample from a 375 ml bottle. Totally clear golden color in the glass with a clean honey aroma. The flavor is simple sweet honey based mead but not overly sweet. Thing I find here is the strong alcohol presence that I have found in all three Sap House Meads. The nice thing here is it doesn't get overly sweet or cloying.

Bottle from Bert’s Brilliantly clear deep golden color with decent legs. Mild honey and floral notes with a touch of alcohol. Somewhat dry, a bit too much for my tastes.

Pours still, clear and pale yellow gold. The aroma is somewhat floral and simply fruity. Apple cider and roses. Mild honey. A touch of booze. Mouthfeel is thin and watery. Taste is washed out simple honey. Gets a fairly apple cider sour and hot at the close and it dominates the experience. It finishes very dry, dusty dry, but there’s some sweetness to the mead. Very mild floral honey in the taste. The aroma is nice enough, but the taste doesn’t live up to it. Flat.
