Taster pour at Powder Keg Beer and Chili Festival. Appearance is cloudy yellow with nice sparkle, tiny ring of white head. Aroma is nice tropical fruit, citrus. Taste is tropical fruit mixed with bitter grapefruit, pine. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, soft-to-average carbonation and balance of sweet and bitter finish with hint of tart. Overall, strong, delicious aroma and flavor.

Sample at the Granite State Brewers Festival. Pours a hazy deep straw very opaque. Tropical and citrus fruity with a sweet bready maltiness. Pretty tasty and easy to drink, I went back to this more than once.

4 oz. sample glass at the source. Hazy bright gold, some foamy head. Aroma is isn’t as bold as the 2.0 version, but still some citrus and mild floral notes.
In the flavor the rustic grain backbone is still here but everything about this seems more subdued than Stack 2.0. You can’t listen to the masses on Untappd because they have this all hyped. To me it is just a mellow fruit and floral IPA, nothing to get real excited about. Average bitterness, average fruit, normal body.
