Taster pour at the source. Appearance is clear, pale yellow with light greenish tinge, no sparkle, no head, light leggy lacing. Aroma is pine, vegetal. Taste is pine, bittersweet grapefruit. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation with dry, crisp bitter finish. Overall, not overly complex but good.

From my brother: pours golden with some hazy and a nice long lasting white head. Aroma is tropical fruits and some resin. Taste is juicy with a bit of bitterness. Alcohol is well covered but the body speaks to it being a DIPA. Low sweetness. Dry.

650 ml bottle with a sticker on bottom of bottle showing 1-17-17. Color is a mostly hazy yellow with suspended particles in a liquid. Good head retention. Aroma (even when warm) was weak dried fruit, mild pine resin.

The flavor has was not as bold as I was hoping for. The tropical fruits and pine is here but also has a slightly harsh astringency that doesn’t help enjoyment. The body is light with a dry texture.

In a highly competitive New England IPA market, it will hard for anybody to take notice of this. Could use a bit of tweaking. (If you want people to actually seek this out). Sorry just being honest. The good news is the alcohol is hidden pretty nicely.

Bottle from Bert’s Slightly hazy light golden color with a decent sized bubbly white head that slowly dissipates. Resin and pine dive for my nose as soon as I pop the cap. Tropical fruity citrus and light bready maltiness fill in the rest. Resin citrus and pine flavor with again some faint sweat bread. Mild bitterness with just a hint of astringency. Quite a flavorful solid DIPA, nice.
