[2/3/17] Draught/Bottle at Extreme Beer Fest in Boston. Black. Bourbon, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, nuts, sweet, a bit boozy. Full-bodied.

Draft @ Extreme Beer Fest, 4 Feb, 17. Black appearance with a big, long-lasting brown head. Aroma has milk chocolate, mild roast, cinnamon, vanilla, and can’t find barrel treatment.
Body is nice and fuller, chewy. Lightly spicy, cinnamon overplays the pepper. Chocolate and vanilla backbone. The barrel treatment is mellow but overall this works out. Really nicely done.
