[2/4/17] Draught/Bottle at Extreme Beer Fest in Boston. Black, tan head. Roast, licorice, wood, nuts, sweet, bitter finish, medium to full-bodied.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.5

Draft @ Extreme Beer Fest, 4 Feb, 17. The aroma on this is heavy oak influence. Also, mildly tannic and vinous. The flavor of this stout is much like the aroma, influence massively on the oak. I prefer the “Tough Love” Bourbon barrel variation over this.
