Batch number 1. Should be a 2014 vintage... purchased at Julio’s Liquors way back when in early 2015. Murky Amber color with a brown hue. Aroma of caramel malt, floral hops, dark fruit and a English malt or ale hints.
Fruity flavor (grapes, apples, pears) along with bready malt, very mild bitterness. Medium bodied with the booze almost totally hidden. This is a pretty nice Barley Wine, very enjoyable. I wanted to share this with friends but nobody wants to drive to my house on a Sunday to watch the Philadelphia Eagles. Their loss my gain :)

Pours slightly hazed mahogany into a trappist glass. Creamy tan head with excellent retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Band aid and summer fruit aromas. Thin with overwhelming band aids upfront turning to bitter caramel before the sweet, medium length return to band aids in the finish.
