650 ml bottle with a bottling date of 11/2/16 purchased at CBC Waterbury, VT. Deeper, murky brown color, thin lasting white head. Aroma is a lot of roasted coffee bean, light nuts, maybe chocolate notes.
Flavor shows the roasted coffee 1st and foremost. Notes of toasted caramel, light chocolate, walnuts. A touch of bitterness but it comes off pretty sweet. Almost a tad on the syrupy side for the mouthfeel. This is pretty good.

Bottle dated 11/02/2016.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-dark brown color with a light transparent light brown color at the edges of the glass. A thin white to off white foamy head sits atop of the glass nicely and dissipates in a level mild pace. Lace clings adequately to the glass.
The aroma starts with sweet and roasted coffee beans up front graced by some earthy hops, semi-bitter, but there for a light balance. Rich sweet roasted nuts and a light cocoa bean show some presence.
The flavor leans to the sweet and roasted coffee bean. Sweet nuts, coffee and cocoa combine in the aftertaste to leave slight dry to sticky sweet and roasty finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation felt good for what it is. I would have again.
Overall, I say English brown ale with an American twist of adding the cocoa bean and coffee bean. Great job Frost!
