Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: dark orange to amber color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: grapefruity to mixed citrusy to floral and with some white pepper with some funk
Flavor: blends all the prior noted aromas to a fair funky to spicy to semi-sweet quality; finishes the same way
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness but also some funky to light tart assertiveness
Overall: not a bad saison, it works and I think I could come back to this.

Owl Farm tap: pours deep gold with a white head. Aroma is farmhouse, quite spicy, and a bit malty. Taste is super spicy. Very yeasty. Not bad but a bit too much.

Draft sample at Dominion Wine & Beer, thanks Tyler! Mostly clear golden orange with off-white head. Aromas of herbs, light funk, light floral notes. Tastes of funk, grassy notes, hay, floral notes, herbs. Medium body with a dry finish.

On draft at Dominion Wine and Beer. Pours a hazy gold with an off white head. Fruity, floral nose. Flavors of mint and white pepper. Very nice.

Bottle from the Brewery. Hazy light golden color with a huge frothy bubbly white head that persists forever. Great citrus hop aroma with plenty of peppery spicy yeast phenols and a touch of sweet bready maltiness. Flavor is peppery spicy earthy with a solid sweet bready maltiness. Moderate earthy hop flavor but low bitterness. That’s a pretty tasty hoppy saison right there.

Draft at Hayseed in a snifter. Hazy gold in color, slow receding white head. Aroma is nice citrus hops/ light yeast.
The flavor has a really nice balance of yeast and hops. Citrus and a slight melon when the ale is warm. Low bitterness with a spicy/ peppery finish. Nicly made.
