Sandy coloured, frothy head stayed well on a black still body - Looks great! Sweet, malty & dark fruit aroma. Great thick body feel, smooth & creamy. You’d never know this has such a low ABV. Cream, brown sugar, milk, cocoa, dark chocolate, dark fruits & an overall sweet aft. What an excellent Sweet Stout - Punching well over it’s ABV.

Bottle from BottleDog, Holborn, london and shared at the 3rd Ipswich bottle share. Pours black with a frothy beige head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, roasted malt. Light sweetness and bitterness. Medium body and slick texture, belying its low abv. Moderate carbonation. Finish is dry, cocoa. A decent brew at 3.4%..

(Cask at Craft Beer Clapham, London, 23 April 2016) Black colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with chocolate, vanilla and coffee. Malty, roasted taste with notes of chocolate, vanilla, creamy coffee, roasted nuts and a balanced cacao bitterness in the finish. Light body, with a certain sweetness. Possibly a bit thin, but tasty and well balanced with a creamy chocolate character. Nice one.

Cask gravity at the Watford beer festival 2015. Dark mahogany brown, reddy coloured pour with a halo of light tan loose head. Aroma is choc, chipotle pepper, earthy grains, nutty. Flavour is nutty choc, toasted coconut, berry, milky, light lactose sugars. Lingering coco powder. Palate is semi sweet, lowish carbonation, grainy. OK light sweet stout.
