Our award-winning low ABV chocolate milk stout is brewed with five different grains, real organic chocolate, milk sugar (lactose), oats and organic cacao nibs, then 'dry-hopped' with more cacao nibs for even more chocolate.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at Kris Wines. Pours deep brown with a dense, creamy beige head. Moderate roasted malts in the aroma, some milk chocolate, dark berries. Light-medium sweet flavor with nice cocoa character, some burnt earth bitterness, burnt sugars, milk chocolate, mild dry and leathery berries. Light bodied with really lively carbonation; itโs a bit over-carbonated, which distracts from the subtle characteristics of the beer. Lightly sweet on the finish, with further milk chocolate, a hint of bittersweet baking cocoa, more bitter earth, some ash. Really good stuff given the ABV. It could be even better if the carbonation levels werenโt out of balance. Overall, solid.

Cask at Ealing Beer Festival 2015, Ealing, London. A black coloured pour with a thin off white head on top. Sweetish, chocolate aroma. Tastes bitter/sweet, chocolate, slightly thin. Not a bad effort from this new brewery.
