Bottle pour into taster cup at Greg & Jane’s Beer and Wine. Appearance is hazy light brown/dark orange. Aroma is moderately strong sweet fruit dominant. Taste is as aroma. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, soft-to-average carbonation. Overall, only a small taste/experience with it but it was a good, competent DIPA with decent flavor. Enjoyable but not a category beater.

22 oz. bottle. No bottle dating of any kind. Clear Amber color liquid with lasting, foamy white head in the snifter. Aroma is fresh squeezed oranges (no joke, bold orange citrus) with a very mild caramel malt.
The flavor shows citrus right upfront turning into a light caramel malt base. A pine note shows up in the bitterness but the caramel and fruit knocks the bitterness down. Body is medium with an a borderline syrupy mouthfeel. No major problems or issues. It’s just much sweeter then most people are now looking for in the style. For the gravity I was searching for a bolder hop profile.

Bottle from Bert’s Deep golden bordering on amber with a stingy off white head that shows average retention. Big bready caramel maltiness with hints of toffee. Earthy spicy citrus hoppiness. Quite sweet for a double IPA and lacking a lot in hop aroma and flavor.

22oz bottle trade from puboflyons, THANKS. Nice beer. Minimal to disappearing offwhite-hazy amber. A-sweet grapefruit, caramel. T-pine/grapefruit hops, quickly equaled by the caramel med malt. Midpalate the hops provide some bite that lingers. Medium body. Interesting mouthfeel. As Jeff said, a few tweaks...
