Not listed as Rye on my can but they assured me this is what it is. On the menu it just said Remy's Double India Pale Ale. Pour is rather viscous and slightly hazy on an off pale color. Thick head. Taste is so big and bad, its so medicinal, so citrus bitter grapefruit hind that it almost makes my gag reflex kick in. Burning warm sensation all the way down the gullet. So much alky in this that it kick you straight up in the ass. Such a big bitter bastard all the way to its soapy end. There you have it, what else can be said?

Taster pour (2/1/20) at the brewery. Appearance is clear golden yellow-orange with trace sparkle, ring of head with nice lacing. Aroma is strong pine and musky armpit. Taste is strong initial mango/stone fruit over (back half) pine, musky armpit and substantial caramel/bread malt balance. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with thick texture, average-to-lively carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, good, strong flavors and there's some weight here.

Bottle date of 1-16-2016 purchased at Prost. Clear Amber / orange color, lasting head retention. Aroma is a steady amount of Rye malt, mild caramel, light floral. The flavor shows the a good amount of Rye, mild floral hops but ends with a lot of sweetness. Lots of tropical fruit that kills the hop profile in the finish.

Poured from bottle 1/15/16 thanks Airforcehops copper caramel color with nice lacing and a thin white head. Aromas of rye caramel floral notes mild citrus and resinous hop. Taste is sweet caramel lingering bitter hops. Might be better fresher.

Bottle from a Lazy Dog Hazy deep copper bordering on amber with a decent sized frothy white head. Spicy earthy tropical fruity nose with bits of sugary malt at the edges. The flavor is quite sweet with a touch of alcohol warmth. Resinous hop and spicy rye flavor. This is a big sweet beer, a bit too sweet for a big IPA
