Pours slightly hazed deep gold into a stem glass. White soapy head with good retention crackles and recedes leaving trailing spots. Sweet banana aromas. Soft and thin with banana upfront turning to bubblegum and hot banana peel in the sour earth finish.

Can pour from trade with Johnnnniee via the Packie--thanks, John! It's a hazy dark yellow-light brown with decent sparkle, finger-width white foamy head with poor retention and sparse lacing. Aroma is moderately strong wheat, fruity esters, bubblegum, clove, hint of tart fruit. Taste is strong wheat, European malts, fruity esters, bubblegum, light banana, hint of tart fruit. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, average-to-lively carbonation and finish as taste with dry mild lingering bitterness. Overall, a nice complexity and strength of aromas and flavors. Nice.

500 ml bottle. It pours a darker copper / brown color with a big and fluffy off-white head and lacing. The aroma is banana, clove, earthy malts and caramel.
The taste is banana, chocolate, dark bread, and earthy malts. The yeast is here with a bigger malt profile with traces of roasted grain and nuts. Body is medium with a normal level of carbonation. This used to be one of my favorite styles of beer. I am starting to really lean away from this style of beer but as far as this is concerned, it’s pretty well made. Perhaps just a tad on the sweeter side.
