Can pour from the brewery. It's a murky dark brown with thin cap of beige head and trace lacing. Aroma is strong pine over base caramel. Taste is strong pine over tobacco, leather, rubber, and German malt. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and dry finish as taste with lingering bitterness. Overall, lacking a rich malt presence for contrast and some off flavors. Potential but doesn't execute.

Sample at the kickoff party at Homebrewcon Dark brown with a decent sized off white head that persists. Light roast and chocolate against some citrus and resinous hops. Nice to have some malt in the mix.

Pours a dark chocolate brown from a tap with a thick tan head. Aroma of pine and toast, flavor is similar, dry with a hint of toffee. Very good beer.

22 oz. bottle purchased at Redstone Liquors, Stoneham, MA. Appearance is nearly black with some ruby highlights around the edges. Aroma is very mild roast with a large about of pine and earthy notes
The flavor has the pine hops as the main flavor with the hops providing the backbone. Malts are weak but here. Body leans on the thin side of medium with a dry pine needle texture. Overall, I was able to drink the entire bomber by myself. I like this style a lot and for me it was pretty easy to drink. So it gets a few points of drinkability.
