Can pour into nonic pint glass from Greg & Jane’s Beer and Wine. Appearance is cloudy with fine, dark particulates, minimal sparkle, 1.5-finger width foamy white head with poor retention and some soapy lacing. Aroma is orange and lemony citrus with pineapple, light resin over malt base. Taste is sweet orange and lemon with bitter resin back half. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thin, foamy texture, soft carbonation and mix of sweet and bitter finish. Overall, the aroma steals the show. The taste is good but doesn’t deliver on all the breadth of the aroma and the bitter profile is stronger than I’d prefer.

4 oz sample at the source. Slightly hazy yellow. Aroma is light pine and mild citrus. Hints of pale grain. Flavor is that of a balanced IPA. Grain base with citrus throughout the sip. Ends with a very mild pine bitterness. Body is on the lighter side. Pretty much the standard IPA offering. No flaws or problems and simple enough.

Sample from the Granite State Brewers Festival 7/25/15 Bready maltiness with citrus and pine. some grassy raw hop cone notes become a bit distracting.
