Draft. A brown beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and alcohol. The flavor is very sweet with notes of alcohol and caramel, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. The alcohol warms the tongue.

Best of the bunch at the pub! Nose of roastiness, chocolate, caramel, and a molasses note. Clear cherry with a moderate beige head. Flavor had chocolate, some lightly sweet dark fruitiness, and hint of light bitterness.

Cask at the brewpub. Deep roasted malt aroma. Mahogany color with a white head. Medium body with very smooth carbonation. Sweet roasted malt flavor backed by floral hop. The finish is sweetish, and the bitter is simply present. Seems a good representative of the style.
