Keg pour at the brewery. Appearance opaque black with finger-width light brown head with nice lacing. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malts, hint of coffee. Taste is a roasted/burnt sweet/bitter mix (like a chocolate covered espresso bean). Palate is light bodied with creamy texture and no carbonation, with mixed sweet/bitter finish. Overall, this is a really nice, mellow kind of stout. Enjoyed it.

4 oz. taster at 7th Settlement. Pours near black with a grayish brown head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a good amount of roasted malts, good amount of milk chocolate and a bit of sweet vanilla like hints.
Flavor has sweet chocolate throughout with sweet dark grains and a hint of coffee nuances. Mild vanilla like the aroma. The texture is great because it’s on nitro. Really creamy with a velvet like palate. If I wasn’t lactose intolerant I would order a whole pint. Nicely crafted

On tap at Granite State on tap. Solid black color with no head or any signs of carbonation. roasty sweet chocolate and caramel with a hint of vanilla and cream. Great flavor and aroma if only it was carbonated!
