On tap at America on Tap Manchester. Dark brown almost black with a frothy off white head. Light earthy roast and caramel with hints of butterscotch and not nearly enough hops to counter the malt.

Draft at the source in a sample glass. Pitch black in color with lasting thin white head that left legs of lacing. Aroma shows a substantial amount of earthy notes mixed with light roast.
Nice layer of flavor. The profile starts with a mild citrus that gives way to a moderate roasted malt body ( hints of chocolate ). The brew turns into a steady amount of earthy hint that is more herbal then straight up pine. Bitterness is lengthy after the sip yet, still balanced by roast. Very nicely crafted.
