Poured from bottle at Novare Res thanks Airforcehops. Hazy lemon gold pour with a one finger white head. Aromas of funk oak and light hops. Taste is very much oak with a lingering peppery funky finish. Interesting.

Bottle purchased at Novare Res and shared with friends on Zwanze Day. Cloudy golden color with thin lasting head. Aroma is yeasty with a huge oak character.
The flavor reflects the huge oak character. Some bitterness with a pretty intense about of alcohol even at only 8 % I wouldn’t expect this much booze. The Bretta is here which gives a straw or musty hay note. The beer comes off very hot, if the alcohol was lower it would be more enjoyable for me.
