Pours hazy gold into a tulip. White head with little retention recedes to nothing. Sourdough aromas. Soft and sharp with sweet yeast, hay and clove front to back. Lasting bitter/sour finish. Not a favorite.

Draft at the brewery. Cloudy golden with lasting head and legs. Aroma is Belgian influenced yeast and hints of straw.
The body is medium with plenty of chewy yeast. The flavor is almost entirely yeast, dusty grain, and notes of lemon. Weak tartness in there. The mouthfeel drys in the finish. No major problems to report.

Northeast Bucket List Trip Beer #52. Keg at the brewery. Pours a hazy straw with a large creamy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of heavy phenolic clove, bready malt and a bit of smoke. The taste is spicy, herbal hops, bready malt, mild apple. Medium bodied, well balanced, mild lingering tartness.
