Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a fairly pale yellow color with a slight transparency about it. Thin white foamy head sat atop and fell off at a decent pace. Sliding lace.
The aroma was the sweet honeydew/melon sort of thing going on. Some grassy sweet hops at the very end.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side of those melons which lead into the aftertaste to leave a semi-smooth clean sweet melon finish.
The feel was light bodied with a pretty good sessionability about it. Good carbonation and the ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, pretty nice fruit beer that I would have again preferably in warmer weather. Grill side beer - yes!

Taster pour at the source. Appearance is pure yellow (somewhat like urine) without sparkle, small head that faded quickly to ring, no lacing. Aroma is nice honeydew melon, sweet fruity. Taste is fruity, mix of blueberry and honeydew. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with frothy texture, average-to-lively carbonation with slightly sweet, dry finish with burst of creamy carbonation. Overall, a pleasant fruit beer (when you’re craving that kind of thing) in aroma and taste.

650 ml bottle purchased at Craft Beer Cellar. Orange in color with lasting head and legs. Aroma is indeed cantaloupe, or maybe that is implied and its just flat out melon, hints of some type of hop. Flavor is melon pulp base, weak honey and shows a grainy texture. Well, this is exactly as the Brewer description says it is. Light easy summer sipping fruit brew.

Bottle from the Drinkery Derry. Slightly hazy light golden color with a smallish white head. Huge melon on the nose with a sweet bready maltiness and hints of earthy hop aroma to counter. The flavor is big melon as well and bit of a bitter toffee that kind of clashes with the other flavors a bit too much. Medium body with a moderate carbonation. I really dug the melon aroma, but felt the malt was a bit too strong in the flavor to let the fruit shine through. Dial back the crystal malt a bit and this would be fantastic.
